Meet the Team
Brenda Burkey
Client Service Associate
Brenda joined Milholland & Mitchell Financial Group in January 2024. She is new to the financial
industry and very grateful to be part of a team and culture where people are a priority and
deeply valued. She has extensive experience in client support, managing projects, and
leading high-performing, collaborative teams in the telecommunications industry for 20+
years where she received multiple awards. She also served in several roles at Rosedale Bible
College where several highlights were singing in the Chorale, directing/producing
full-length plays, and founding Salt & Light Co., a small drama/musical group that traveled
during summer months.
She grew up in rural Nebraska and now resides in Hilliard. She is an active member of
Madison Choral Singers who perform a wide variety of genres. Fun fact – her first solo was
at age 3. Brenda loves to travel internationally and domestically and explore new cultures.
She also enjoys gardening, art, bicycling, calligraphy, and the wonders of nature. After
traveling to 42 states, five Canadian provinces, eight European countries, three UK
countries, Ireland, Bermuda, and six Caribbean Islands, she hopes Iceland is next!
